The Pittsburgh Savoyards close their 83rd season this Spring with Live, Laugh, Love, Repeat; or, The Importance of Being Romantically Earnest, a collection of four short plays about love with some Gilbert & Sullivan songs sprinkled in!

When a young woman suspects her husband of having an affair with a glamorous actress, she confronts the other woman to find out the truth. The actress claims that nothing untoward is going on, but is she telling the truth or merely acting?

YESTERDAY, by Colin Campbell Clements
After sneaking away from the hubbub of a fancy ball, a Lady and British Officer find themselves alone together. As they reminisce about their past loves, they discover that their loves are right in the room.

THE OPEN DOOR, by Alfred Sutro
Lady Torminster has liked Sir Geoffrey from afar, but she is married to her husband Jack and she dares not act upon her feelings. When she unexpectedly encounters Sir Geoffrey the day before he is to go on a long voyage overseas, the truth finally comes out.

THE MARRIAGE PROPOSAL, by Anton Chekhov
Ivan Lomov, a long-time neighbor of the Chubukovs, has come to propose marriage to their daughter, Natalia. After he has asked and received joyful permission to marry Natalia, he attempts to to tell her the happy news. Unfortunately, before he can fully convey the proposal, the conversation devolves into a fierce argument about property boundaries! Will they live happily ever after, or is their relationship finished before it even begins?
